Unlike many modern love stories, ours didn't begin with a dating app. Ours started a more old fashioned way - with a determined matchmaker and mutual friend, who connected us in early 2024 (on John's birthday!).

From the beginning our relationship has been an adventure that has combined Auburn's and John's connection to mountains, lakes, beaches, travel, sushi, wine, brunching, family, dogs and more.

From hiking in places like Boulder, Gold Hill and Vail; to boating the lakes of Colorado and Montana; to watching shooting stars and even listening to a bagpipe player on the beaches of the East Coast; to making green chili, gingerbread cookies, banana bread and mulled wine in Jamestown. Love and fun has abounded!

In July 2025, at Under The Big Sky in Montana, John presented a sparkling pink diamond and popped the question to his forever adventure partner.

We are thrilled to celebrate with you this fall at Camp Hale in the beautiful mountains of Colorado!
